The Vault Journal
News, tips, and stories for collectors of vintage movie posters, autographs, and film memorabilia — plus classic cinema history from the Marquee Vault archive.
What We Cover
The Vault Journal covers the world of original theatrical movie poster collecting: how to identify originals, how to grade condition, which titles are most collectible, how to display and preserve your posters, and the rich history of theatrical advertising art from the studio era through today.
We also explore the films themselves — the directors, the campaigns, the iconic imagery that made certain posters cultural artifacts as important as the films they advertised.
